HelpDiabetes for Android/gPhone - Version 1.2.0
Introduction
HelpDiabetes is a carb counting application that runs on a cellular phone. It calculates the amount of carbohydrates in a meal. It is the successor of the J2ME version which was released for the first time end 2007, and which you can read all about right here.

The application has been released on the Android Market, with the support from Androidworld.nl . Search for 'helpdiabetes'.

Own fooditem can be added to list of selected items
After selecting an item, when there's more than one unit for the item, a pop appears which allows to user to select a unit.

This is the first version which allows calculating the amount of carbs, 10 tables in 10 different languages, which will be selected based on the phone's language settings.
